1997 Acura Integra RS in Syracuse, NY
I’ve been lurking around the forum for some time now enjoying the amount of Integra knowledge here. I’m a big fan of the car having had two Integras in roughly 20 years. My first, an 88’ black LS 3dr coupe, I purchased new in Dallas, TX. What a reliable and great driving car it was. I had it for 15 years and had to donate it because the road salt here in Syracuse had eaten the body away from the chassis. It had 140k on it and still started with a touch of the key. I miss that car.
My second Integra, a green 97’ RS sports coupe, which I have now I think is a little more stylish than my 88’. Bought it in 99’ and was able to afford to keep it as a summer car- -look what the winter salt did to my last one. It has been babied and garaged and covered its whole life. I haven’t driven it much in the last couple of years; second marriage with kids has me too busy to play with it anymore. The wife and I struck an agreement that if I sold the car I could have my second boat. I hate to sell it cause I love driving it, when I get the chance, but I did make a deal with the better half. Well, I thought since this site is full of Integra fans I would let you all know that it is for sale for anyone interested. Here are some of the particulars on the car:
v 1.8 liter 4 cylinder engine with 5 speed manual transmission.
v Mileage: 54,959
v Vin #: available upon request.
v Air conditioning.
v Power windows.
v Power side view mirrors.
v Power antenna.
v AM/FM CD Stereo integrated with
trunk mounted CD player (6 stack).
v Passport radar detector (not seen in the car).
v 15” Borbert racing rims and Pirelli P6000 performance tires.
v 2000 lb draw trailer hitch (for pulling a light boat or jet ski trailer).
v Grey Acura car cover (in trunk).
v Acura floor mats (in trunk).
v Service manual and complete documented service history.
The car is located in Syracuse, NY. The asking price, $6,675.00, is based on an average of the three top appraisal guides: NADA, Kelley, and Edmunds. I’ll listen to reasonable offers so give a call. If you’d like some pics, I have plenty, just e-mail me and I’ll send them over. Thanks.
