Is the Craftsman 4-Ton, Low-Profile, High-Lift Floor Jack with Fast Lift worth buying? I need a jack to use for both lower compact cars and for a SUV.

No it isn't! I bought one to use on my '94 Civic and '03 Element. It took so many pumps to lift up any car. I just might have gotten a defective one. But I returned it and didn't try another one.
