Default Will adding a tranny cooler help my performance?

Hey Guys, I have a 1998 Honda Preluude with the S.S. transmission. I was wondering if I added a transmission cooler, would it help imrove the performance of my automatic. It does seem likely that if the auto tranny were cooler that it would be able to handle a bit more power without having to worry about heating problems. Tell me what you guys think, nad if so, what kind of system should I purcahse?

You should have a stock tranny cooler, I think.

it won't neccisarily help with performance like you're thinking...mostly it'll help keep your transmission lasting longer and say you were draggin your car on the strip...you'd be able to do more consistent runs without it feeling like crap after like two passes.
