A/C makes "whoop" noise/weird sound

A/C makes "whoop" noise/weird sound
My A/C makes a strange "whooop" sound (1-2 seconds) when it seems to be humid outside. I know it's the A/C because I have shut it off in the middle of the noise. Does anyone know what the sound could be?

Could be the compressor going bad, The clutch slipping, belt slipping, or one of the fans going bad. Take a long screwdriver and touch the parts and listen through the screwdriver and see if u hear the noise.
