I just bought a 96 civic.
The engine light stays on, and it seems to lag in 1-3 gear.
Like, it seems like it's pulling slow, you know what I mean?
Can anyone help me on this?

 

check the code that is being thrown. you do this by jumping the service connector (its a two wire connector just hanging down by the ecu, just bend a wire and stick it across the two holes in the plug)

then put your key in the ignition and turn it to acc/on, your cel light will blink at you, count the blinks

long blinks for 10's digit, short for 1's

long...long...short.short.short = 23

get it?
