Noob Question
Hey guys, I have a question on big time WHP.
I have a 99 Civic EX Coupe. I was planning on getting either a b18c1 or c5 swap in it. I was told get the c1 if your going to turbo because of compression. So how does everybody get the 350+ whp?? What all do you do and where do you get it??
Thanks

If you are shooting for 350 whp, you will have to strengthen the bottom end so it doesn't matter if you buy the C1 or C5. After rebuilding the bottom end, they both turn out identically, minus the head.
All you need for 350 whp is a medium sized turbo, forged pistons and rods, and a good tune.

So if I wanted more, I would get a bigger turbo??
What do you mean strengthen the bottom end??
By fuel system do you mean just injectors and fuel rail??

Forged rods and pistons and possible sleeves depending on power goals.
Higher volume fuel pump, larger injectors, and fuel pressure regulator. The stock fuel rail is capable of holding well over 500 whp, so it isn't necessary to upgrade.
It's not that easy to slap a turbo onto a B18C1 and get 350whp...
I wish
