Default Upper radiator hose connection... help?

Okay... so u know on the b16a head where the upper radiator hose connects in... there's a little nipple on the backside of that big piece... right behind where the hose goes in.

WHERE DOES THAT NIPPLE CONNECT TO? hahaha

I am lost without it. It's one of the last few things... other than axles, alternator, and figuring out what I want to do about power steering. LOL

anyhow, thanks.

It goes to a water bypass hose that goes to a hardline(that's attached to the hardline from the crankcase breather), and then to another hose that connects to the back of the thermostat housing. The nipple on the upper hose neck and the nipple on the thermostat housing are the same size.
