Sorry I couldnt call today, first day at the new job and had class all night.
Anyways, I just had the car a couple of days. Its a 1989 DX with automatic tranny. Havent even had a chance to title it in my name yet but I do have the title. It's from NY and hasnt been through a VA inspection yet and I dont know that it would pass.

I bought it thinking I would fix it but discovered that it would take a little more than I had previously thought. There's a head gasket issue... but I seem to take things too far and one thing led to another and I was looking at B18c1 motors with an LSD tranny... and to have that I cant have it looking like a jallopy.. so I would need new rear fenders repaint the whole thing... and now Im looking at a 5-6k car. So instead I've decided to stop myself before I get started on the whole thing. I've also decided to learn to weld before getting anything else with rust on it.

The hatch is good... Personally I think its a bit noisy but Im used to newer cars (under 5 years). Mentioned the rust behind the wheel wells already. The hood's a little dented. The brakes feel soft. God only knows how old the rear breaks are. I took the wheels off to look at them but I didnt realize they were drums and i know nothing about drums. Front brakes are okay. Not great. The right front caliper seems to have a torn boot. In the few days that I did have it I managed to bleed the brakes.

Not much else I can tell you about it. It's white and appears to have 2 new michelin tires in the front. Im trying to disclose as much as I possibly can but that's all I've seen.
