Default PROJECT CAR 4th Gen H22 In NY for sale $3000

*PRICE LOWERED TO $2300 willing to think about $2000*

*Also listening to offers*

Ok, so I was on the path to revive my best friend's 4th Gen but I've decided to get a subaru and sell the Lude. The car was hit on the driver's side at an angle by a livery cab on queens blvd at about 35mph. I pulled off the panels and there appeared to be no structural damage. I have since then replaced the door, front fenders, hood, hood latch and hood cable. The car is currently garaged at my gf's house. I have also bought a set of OEM headlights, corner lights and bumper lights for the car. I just changed the oil the other weekend but I think it needs a headgasket. The car starts if you jump it and runs.

This is a PROJECT CAR, I want to make sure that I do not want to mislead anyone to think that this is otherwise. I'm looking for $3000 tow away for your pleasure. I wish I could keep it since I had already started buying parts for it. I have a used set of H&R Springs and Tokicko Illuminas and front brembo blanks that I will throw in with the car for the asking price of $3000. I will post pictures over the next few days, please make sure to ask me any questions you may have, serious interested parties only, I WILL NOT part out this car so please do not ask.

Now here is the deal, this is my best friend's car and it is in his name, he is a marine currently in Iraq and we are in the process of shipping him the paperwork to him to sign the car over to me because originally I was going to keep it and fix it so the name of transfer on the title is in my name. So I will have to transfer the car into my name and then into the end buyer. So this is what I am proposing, the end buyer may take the car as long as payment is made in full, the buyer and I will then form a notorized contract stating that the car is legally the buyers and that I will get the paperwork transferred to the buyer.

Please contact me with any questions, I will not hide anything as I am not a scammer. I will answer all questions to the best of my knowledge. I will post pics and I can take more if needed. I am only available to show the car on the weekends as it's at my gf's car in LI. Thanks for looking

How do you figure it's wrecked? As for the paperwork, I've laid everything out for ppl so there are no hidden surprises. I'm upfront about the car and the situation and I'm also very willing to work with ppl on this. You have nothing to contribute so why are you in my thread? It was all panel damage, but then again I'm not a body shop so I won't lie about that but this is from my opinion of working on the car and seeing it every weekend. Ppl are more then welcome to come inspect the car themselves and form their own opinion, I never said one has to buy the car without looking. It has a clear title. If you are not interested in the car then please stay out of my thread.

Yes, and what I see is panel damage, but like I said, I am not a bodyshop expert therefore I encourage ppl to come look at it personally. If you have nothing useful to contribute then please do not post a response and stay out of my thread. I'm upfront about the car and obviously if I wanted to hide anything I would've just taken pics of the car in it's current state and called that the accident, but I'm not like that and I like to lay the cards on table for prospective buyers.

um... its just too high of price, never know you could get it but with the damaged fixed and painted it would be a good asking price of $3k

Try ebay

It may be but like I said, if it really is just panel damage then considering I have replaced most of them, you're still getting a H22 swapped 4th Gen for the price and if the buyer is really good then they can do the paint work themselves like I was planning, there are obviously enough DIY tutorials online to help with that. But like I said, I encorage ppl to come look at it themselves and they are welcome to work out a price with me.
