ok i have the motor in the car and it will start and idle but when you push the gass it dies . there is a pluge down by the crank shaft pull y that i could not hook up and i did not change the ecu could ethere of those be the problem . the car is a 93 civic coupe ex (v tech) thank you for anny help you could provide

 

if you didnt change the ecu you are running incorrect fuel and timming maps

you need to run a b18c ecu with a b18c engine!

besides not using the correct ecu, have you change the spark plugs and wires? have you checked you timing? The ecu is the most important thing that you are missing!!

 

yeah i changed spark plugs and wires i ha d that motor in a 90 civic hatch with an 89 crx ecu and it ran great but with that being an older car that ecu wont work in the 93 coup ex any idea what one will work

 

im running the stock ecu the car had the d1.5b ve tech

 

You need the gsr P72 ECU from a 94-95 integra gsr!!! That D1.5b Ecu is the problem!! you mapping is completely off. and that Ecu is for a sohc instead of a Dohc which your gsr motor is!!!
