'02 Vtec top end noise...

Hi all,
I get an abnormal amount of, what sounds like cam follower noise. I've checked the lash and it's tight if anything. Any ideas??

If it's an F23, it's pretty normal.

the f series has always been very mechanical sounding

it has nothing to do with vtec it just has to do with the f-series in general.
