Default Speedometer calibration on 2006 Accord

Because the standard 205-50-R17 tires on my 2006 Accord ride so rough, I would like to install Goodyear Comfortread 225-55-R17 tires. The local Goodyear dealer, Just Tires, said that they will fit on my rims. However, as one responder to a previous message stated, they are 5% larger in diameter, which will throw off my speedometer accuracy. The Comfortread series improved the ride dramatically in previous cars I have owned, but, unfortunately, that series in not available in the 205-50 size.

Question: Is is theoretically possible for a service technician to recalibrate the speedometer in my 2006 Honda Accord to compensate for the larger diameter tires?

No, it's not possible. As I told you before, you bought the wrong car.
