Computer help needed
I need to upgrade my video card drivers but i cannot find the right driver for my card. does it matter which one i pick? are they all the same? I have an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 card and i cannot play certain games because it tells me the color depth is too low.

decrease the resolution. most driver upgrades won't allow for much improvment in processing ability.
at the resolution you are running it's probably pushing 16 bit color. if you lower it the card might be able to get away with 32.
in any case you just have to get nvidia's newest driverset... there is only one set that controls all of the geforce cards, i think it's called detonator or something.
