Default HELP! my ccd deck got stolen and...

Well, my car got broken into for the 3rd time and this is the 2nd time they ripped out the cd deck. I dont even have the center bezel anymore. Anyway, I dont want to spend another $350 so is it possible somehow to connect my ipod directly to the car speakers somehow? through the headphone jack or something? ?

sorry to hear about that man... i've been there more than once already, it sucks. but there is no way to wire in an ipod directly to speakers without some kind of head unit. the only thing i can suggest is look on ebay for something dirt cheap with a built in aux input, and use that. it doesnt have to be ipod ready, just have an aux input, then you can buy a cable that plugs from the headphone jack to rca jacks.

Check it out get your self a cheeep radio. Then just go out and buy a nice fm transmitter for your ipod. tune the radio to a channel that picks up nothing and then set the fm transmitter too that freq. Granted it not always the best signal (if u buy a cheap one it'll suck) but its better leting the little bastards stealing your stereo to get a cheap 20-50 radio then a 350 stereo. Just throwing it out there for ya.

Since this is the 3rd time this is happened.... Do something different. Take off your faceplate, get an alarm, don't bump your system close to where you are parking...

I have had a system in my car for 3 years now, and no break-ins or anything. Just use common sense.
