whats a good turbo muffler???

just tryin to find a muffler that will work really good with my 2-1/2" exaust and that doesnt sound loud or look ugly??
so if any one could through out a few names or maybe even pics that would be sweet. thanks

u can get the TIR exhuast, thermal R&D, and the greddy smoething or another that all have 2.5 inch,

basically u don't want a champered exhaust, u want straight through design

GSSR is right, you want a good, straight through design when using a turbo. The less backpressure you have, the more efficient the turbo will run (unlike a normally aspirated engine which requires some backpressure for scavenging). If it was even half legal it would be best to run 2 1/2" pipe or better without any inline restrictions... but that's not exactly going to get you an inspection sticker anywhere in the US...

so if someone were to turbo a car... it would be a problem to get it inspected???

for the most part, yes.. but its according to the smog restrictions in your state.. here in cali, generally you wont pass if you have a turbo kit on a car that doesnt come factory turbo'd.. unless of course you get a greddy which is carb exempt..
