Default Main/rod bearing size choice HELP?!?!

so i have a set of old rod bearings so i can use those to check clearances and such to get the correct color bearings, but i dont have any old main bearings. I was planning to just go by the markings on the block/crank since there no major wear on the crank, but im seriously confused...

1. i dont see any lettering on the block to help the coding to use the chart?
2. The markings on the crank are as follows...(oil pump to flywheel)

c B 3
1 3 C 2 C 3

any input on what earings i might need? its really confuseing me

get standard size bearing if it doesent have any wear, get an original spec book for the motor and check your messurements with a T-Gauge and Micrometer, if what i just said was sudhfjkbsfui to you, then not to be rude but do a little more homework and find out how to use that wonderful tool because it will make you life better

i understand what you said. issue is i dont have old main bearings to do measurements with. I have all the helms manuals, and know about the size chart and everything, but what im not catching is how to use the chart with the codes on the block and codes on the crank...i just want to clarify that.
