My dad is leaving for New Mexico before me. He asked that I accompany him on the drive down, which I agreed to. It will allow me to see things, places, get a feel. However, he wants to drag out this drive for 3 or 4 days visiting places like St. Loius, MO etc. Now, I'm all about travelling, however, my dad and I hardly talk here at home and I usually retreat to my bedroom anyway. To be stuck in a car with him for hours at a time will probably drive me insane. Not to mention, I won't be able to get my booze on because it would be awkward with him there.

Once there I'll scout out a place to live, maybe try and find a different job, or just sightsee. I won't be driving back, instead I'll be flying back to Philly.

Cliffs: PA to NM roadtrip with dad for about 4 days - won't be exhilerating.

 

Don't take this chance for granted. No one lives forever I'd go :wiggle:

 

damn, kind of sounds like my relationship w/ my pops. hell go for it though, you never know what you can get out of it.

Oh. Well at least there's room to take stuff or whatever. I say just be open about what you're into and he just might think some of it's cool.

im sure it'll be fine, maybe this is why he wants to do drag this trip out too, so he can have some time with you.... i say enjoy it dude... you never know...
