Ipod or Creative Zen M?
I'm looking into purchasing an MP3 player finally... and need a little advice. Like everything I've seen and heard about Creative Zen M... but wish they had a larger drive; 30GB not enough if I want it for MP3 and video. Apple's Ipod 60GB sounds nice but lacks the video support of Creative's device. Does anyone a have "fair" input on this matter or should I be waiting for the next generation of these two devices to make my decision?

Buying my 30gb Video iPod was one of my best purchases in a long time. There's many freeware programs where you can seamlessly transfer videos to the iPod. Another brand you should really look into is iaudio.
Only reason I went with the iPod is because a lot of car audio systems support it. If it was as easy as plug-and-play I'd get the Zen. Zen supports wmv, avi, wma, and a host of other file formats.
Of the two and wanting vid support I would choose the Zen, that is if video is important in the decision.
I have a Zen Xtra 30gig and love it although the battery life leaves something to be desired at times, but it travels with me along with my iPod Nano 2 gig.

I have the Creative Zen Vision: M in black and I love it. The video support is awesome (I've got about a dozen DVDs ripped to it right now), and the screen has more colors and generally looks better than the Video iPods. I beleive that the video battery life is better than the iPod's as well (about 4 hours for the Zen).
I've had no problems so far, though it did take me a little bit of time to figure out how to rip DVDs to it. The Apple earbuds are much better than the crap Creative ships for headphones though - I bought a $15 pair of Sony headphones at WalMart and they are significantly better than the stock ones. The stock headphones are too large, plus the little foam things fall off way too easy and the headphones are unwearable without them.
