Check this, I just read this story and I can't believe the courts decision especially considering the evidence will be gone within a few days. What do you think?



EASTON, Pa. -- A tossed salad is costing Dawn Higgins more than $173.

She tossed the leftovers from a McDonald's salad out of her car window. She was ticketed for littering and ordered to pay the fine when she didn't show up for her court date.
Higgins appealed, arguing lettuce is biodegradable and not trash. But the Northampton County, Pa., Common Pleas Court wasn't convinced. She was ordered to pay up.
Higgins' lawyer said it's probably the most expensive McDonald's salad ever

Stupid woman. Just because the salad leftovers are biodegradeable does not give her license for the act of littering. Just think if everyone started doing that. I'd hate to spinout on a leftover whopper w/ cheese. She's not a very conscientious citizen.

EDIT: I do wonder...she just empty the salade out the window but she kept the container?

 

if i was eating anything in my car? nope...
i wait till i get to my destination and throw it away in a trash can :dunno:
