I have an '89 civic HB Si. Just completed a frankenstein engine build. d15b1 block for lower compression, d16 Si head & 5spd tranny (long gears) Car ran for about 100 miles. Honda mechanic says that now I have a problem with my cam, or valves/ rocker arms. He recommends putting on a y8 head or replacing the complete engine with an Si engine (d16a6). I don't want to mess witht his damn thing anymore. IT runs, but like shit. Cannot be driven.
