Default Blown B18a1... Help!!!

Riding home in the rain did this to my B18A1 block:

(thanks to jani for link)

See those 2 big holes??

What I wanna know is what I can to do to replace it? will any b-series block fit my block? I know I gotta pull it out and do an obvious rebuild...

will part from an automatic b-series interchange with a manual... yea I'M A NOOB. But I got lots of time on my hands... And friends to help! LoL!

Can anyone give me a ballpark estimate on how much ill spend and information for A NOOB 2 Know like parts I should look into buying for the repair (stock and performance), or if you know where i can get a good deal on a B-series motor, I would appreciate it.

Im in Panama City, FLORIDA!

Like I said any input would help... THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

B18a's are pretty cheap n can usually be found anywhere for a couple hundred dollars, if you need JUST the bare block i'm sure a buddy of mine has one, you'll just have to transfer all your internals to it.

i would imagine so... i mean people constantly do auto-5spd swaps so i guess you can do a 5spd-auto tranny swap as well. the engines should be identical regardless of transmission type.
