Default Dc Sports 4-2-1 Headers

Hello ppl, found a good used header system for my Si. Need to know if I can use them with my stock exhaust system? I don't have the money for the exhaust for now. The headers are 120$ - sounds ok or can I get them cheaper somewhere else (used)? Also, these work best at higher rmps right?

DC Sports headers are ok. there is a lot better out there but for the price you might as well go for it. Figure out how big the opening and flange are on your catyletic converter. You might have to get a bigger inlet cat or a collector to fit in between the header and cat.

Any header should make a noticeable difference. If you're sensitive to it, you can notice the nice weightloss off the front too, because the stock manifold is so heavy

So the 4-2-1 are best for the high revs right?

I don't remember if 4-1 is mid to high or 4-2-1. But on an otherwise stock SI it wouldn't matter all that much which you get.

4-1 is for upper RPM range...4-2-1 helps with mid-range.
