Default SOHC non-vtec to DOHC vtec common wiring problems

I switched my motor from a D15B8 to B18C. We had finished the wirings but then two lights were turning on (seat belt light and e-brake), on the gauge cluster while the car is off. Some people said that it was the cluster but I swapped out the cluster to my stock one and the lights still come on, so its not the cluster. I then swapped the ECU to my old one too, and the lights are still on. I am currently running my stock wiring harness.
Its not the Cluster or ECU.
I don't get it, the lights weren't coming on before, why would they come on now?

you didn't cut any of the wires did you?? that's the only think I could think of. If you're running your stock wiring harness what did you do about kicking the VTEC in? A friends used a MSD RPM activation switch to kick his is, and it only worked half the time. But he did a mini-me in a CRX, soo Maybe that's differen't

I'd redo the wiring that you previously did with the swap. You obviously did something wrong. :happysad:

The problem has been fixed. It was grounding issues. Thanks everyone. I am going to post up pictures really soon.
