I am also looking for sites like that. So far, I tried cars.com, autotrader.com, and craigslist.

Here is a question:
Should I buy from a private seller or from a dealership? I am learning towards the former but that is because I just dont have good experience with dealership. Any tips? I am helping my sister to look for a used Acura TL or CL.

well if you are in so cal, then craigslist is great. I personally went to a dealership for my car. I got fucked by a pot shot dealer, and didn't want to deal with that crap again.

Trust you gut. And CARFAX is your friend! I have bought and sold at least 10 cars from craigslist alone and they were all from private sellers.

You can also try Craigslist for a guy that will go with you and check out the car. Might be worth it. Look under Automotive Services and place and ad.
Or, just ask good questions about the car when you bump into it. Anyone who kept good care of the car will have a lot to say about it.

Peope on CL are pretty cool overall, though. Kinda like a 21st Century Hippie crowd.
