ok well the car is a 1995 honda civic ex coupe.....the battery doesnt really seem that bad....it always starts up wit no problem or lag.....but i guess i'll try it....what else could it be?
just wondering do you have an after market head unit, is there an amp hooked up to,also if you have the above two is there a cap involved. Sounds really odd that its only affecting your stereo? Only thing that pops into mind is to trace the wires back and see if ya have a bad wire.I'd say bad ground but u would no cause it would do it will the car was on
I'd check my battery cable and all the grounds. Just follow any wire coming from the battery, and see where it goes. Check grounds as well.
Keep a 10mm socket or wrench with you too. If anything is loose, it's more than likely a 10mm bolt. That car has 100's of them. Check your main fuse box, too. Check everything. lol
If you're lucky enough to have an Autozone, I'd take the car there and have them check the battery for you. It's free. I've never had this problem with a Honda, but I've had it on my 67 Camaro. Battery seemed good, but everything would reset for no reason.
