Alright, trying to figure out where these to plugs go. This is a 97 civic cx harness.




if you cant see these plugs are the one on the back drivers side kinda. Below the IM

 

The light grey one looks like it could be the speed sensor on the tranny. Not sure about the other one. The pics kinda suck. :happysad:

 

no its not the speed sensor. Sorry the pics suck its kinda hard to get a pic as the manifold and alternator get in the way.
I believe one of them is a crank sensor?

 

You might be stuck with some deductive reasoning there. You MUST have some coresponding male plugs to meet those females somewhere around where they are coming from.

I thought maybe the bluish one went to the alternator?

 

no, there are no other plugs. The motor in there is a b18b. The black one i now know is for some crank sensor from looking on a fellow HX civic. The other one I could not find.

 

Are you throwing codes? If so, check-it and back-track. I'm no guru, just throwing stuff out there.

 

no im not throwing codes, but my car keeps frying TDC and CYP sensors in the dizzy. This is the 4th time. Never had a issue with my d16y7. Pulling the harness out as we speak (just cant find a damn 12mm) and completely going it over to tripple check i dont have a short. That one wire does have power to it (the black one). Im using a JDM motor and a obd1 ecu which "shouldnt" have that crank sensor yet im still getting power if its the right one.
