Do EG sedan front quarter panels fit on EG hatches?

I think I'm finnaly picking up my new car tomorrow but it needs a right front quarter panel. I was going to take mine off my sedan and put it on there if it fits, does it?

i belive 2 door and hatchs eg are the same from the doors foward but the sedan shares nothing with the hatch
