Default Newb here!!

Hey everybody, I'm going to take a look at '00 Si tomorrow. And I'd like to know what to look for in the car? It only has 35k mi on the clock. Anything that I should check except for the obvious stuff like: oil, tranny shifts, brakes, engine noise, vtec system etc.? Any help appreciated.

P.S. Does anyone have access to carfax or autocheck and can run a vin report for me? If so that would be just awesome!! Thanks in advance.

Default Carfax

Hey, send me the VIN and I will look it up. I have a sub for CARFAX. Better do it soon though, I'm on my way out of town to pick up a Del Sol for myself. I'll check back when I get home, if it will get me home that is. A prayer will help.

Just got my Si !!! Very happy with it. BUT, I've noticed that the clutch is grabbing very high, closer up. Also, the third gear kinda grinds a little but not every time. Is this something to be concerned about or I have to get used to the car? Any input appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. Does it sound like the clutch is on its way?

Any suggestions on what to get? Stock one again, or maybe something better? Stage 2 or will it be too hard for basic street driving? The car is 99.9% stock, the only thing that is not stock is the front strut bar, that's it!!! Only 35k mi on it, kinda wierd that clutch is gone by now. Prolly was launched everytime on the stop light.

Any tips where to find one? I tried ebay but nothing stock, only stage 2 or 3. Any website that has one under 150 would be nice, thanks in advance.

For a stock engine, I would suggest the exedy organic clutch.
