94ex d16z6 4dr. I put a new half-shaft on the other day and noticed some disturbing signs that my tranny is on it's way out. When I drained the fluid it didn't have any metal flakes come out but it did have a metallic color to it, it looked kinda like metallic paint.:ugh: I last changed it about 6 months ago when I did my clutch. I decided to change the output shaft oil seals while I was at it and found something worse. There were these pea sized chuncks of tan plastic between the seals and the bearings on both sides. I've also started to notice some occasional grinding when I do a burny.:noes: So my question is what are the plastic bits? And anyone know of a good place to get a rebuilt tranny?
