Default Code 9 TDC Sensor

Im posting here cause no one is ever in the Prelude forum....I've had this code for a while now...Replaced the distributor but still have this problem....Need some advice on how to fix this problem....Car will misfire sometimes...more often when the car is warm than cold...all i do is shut it off and start it back up again and it runs fine..sometimes takes more than one try..Any help would be appreciated

wiring problem? ecu problem? I have a few questions-- the code came back after you replaced the distributor? is it the original engine? let me know and i'll throw in my 2 cents.

Don't know how to check wiring...might be ECU (hoping its not) Yes code came back after i replaced the distributor...Its a constant CEL as soon as the car is started it pops up....and its the JDM F22B DOHC...I had other codes that were fixed once i fixed the problem so i doubt its the ECU.

are any of your connections butt-connected? im thinking that if its a new distributor and the code keeps coming back, then maybe(not too likely) you got a bad distributor (is it new or remaned? from honda?) or, you have bad wiring or ecu. is the wiring harness intact or have you spliced wires?
