Toyota Supra to come!!??
Recently my girlfriend and i went to the Toyota dealership to get her a car. i know, i wanted her to get a honda aswell
but any way after we were done with all the paper work the owner of the dealership asked if we had any questions left. I started by asking why Toyota had gotten rid of the mr2 and the celica??? Not that im a fan of either of the latest models, but still. He replied by telling me that toyota was going to be releasing the SUPRA sometime in the near future!
The only thing that i have to say is that I hope its turbo charged! Has anyone else heard or found anything on a possible supra concept??? maybe some pix???

that dealer is full of it.
1. Toyota's image does not agree with a "Supra" type machine in the lineup. It drinks gas and isn't family friendly. It's an exotic car that goes against the very image Toyota built.
2. If a supercar were to be made, I'd expect to see it under the "Lexus" brand. Class, a touch of the obnoxiously unnessary, power, etc ... this is perfect for them.
3. The MR2 and Celica are perfect examples of Toyota's image clash. A 2 door roadster and 2 door sports coupe isn't what they want to be about. Scion was created to place cars with personality into.
