what do you mean? can a defective pcv make a whistle? cuz i been having this squeaking sound for awhile(only when im accelerating) n could never find the cause of that... i did get a new pcv but havent installed it yet, hopefully that is wuts causing the whistle.

 

A pcv valve is the one thing I would spring for from the factory. Aftermarket ones have been known to make a whistle noise when you accelerate. It did w/me.
