hey id appreciate it if someone would give me an idea of what would make my 96 integra idol so strangely. when i just start the car it runs fine and there seems to be no real significate difference in performance but after it warms up it revs between 1000-2500 rpms on its own while im in nuetral. its just a real pain for obvious noise reasons. if anyone could give me an idea and a price range id appreciate it.

 

Check your coolant level, fast idle thermo valve, and idle air control valve <- in that order. Do a search for idle surge as this topic has be covered many times.
