Default FS: 1995 GS-R Sedan in MD

I will honestly give you as many clues as I can about the car, but first I think it’s important to know a little bit about the owner the car has had for the past 3 years:

I am 21 years old and am the 2nd owner of the car. The car was bought back in May of 2003 as I was nearing the end of high school. It was bought and picked up in VA but brought back home to CT where I drove it until I finished high school. Once out of school, I began working full time for 2 years. This car has been driven virtually everyday since I’ve owned it (the only days it wasn’t driven was times that I had it in the shop for routine maintenance). After school, I also began commuting almost every other week back and forth from MD to CT due to moving plans to MD. Once I settled down in MD last year, the car has been used to drive me back and forth to work and to school. I am currently a mechanic at Koon’s Lincoln Mercury and Volvo in Owings Mills. I have started technical school in Catonsville as well and I drive the car about 50 miles round trip everyday. The reason why I am selling it is because I bought a project car that I want to settle down with and I need the money to begin working on it. The original plan for me was to get a project car and sell my Acura Integra. I have done most of the work on the car myself and know the car like the back of my hand.

About the car: The 1995 Acura Integra Sedan is a genuine GS-R. The engine in it is the same one that came with it from the factory. The engine and the rest of the car has JUST turned over 152,000 miles on the odometer and is currently being driven about 3-4 days a week as I don’t want to put too many more miles on it before sale. The mileage is primarily highway mileage as I commuted for about a year between MD and CT every other week for a year. The engine runs perfect and healthily engages VTEC at 5200 rpm. Despite the mileage, the car handles perfectly--like it’s on rails--and the transmission shifts perfectly in the same condition as when I bought it. The car is VERY quick upon acceleration. The car has a new paint job as of 2/9/06 because the clear coat was vanishing on the hood, roof, and trunk. I decided to get the whole car painted to prepare it for sale.

Even though I have NEVER raced the car on a track or street, I have made minor performance upgrades. I will admit I had major plans for the car, but could never afford to do any of them. The performance upgrades are: an AEM Cold Air Intake (sounds great when VTEC engages), a DC Sports 4-2-1 Header, a high-flow catalytic converter, and a full 2.5” Apexi World Series 2 Cat-Back Exhaust. These are the only performance upgrades done on the car, ever. The car still gets 28 mpg around town and even better 30-34 mpg on the freeway.

The exterior of the car is in Great condition and looks superb with the new paint job. There is NO RUST on the body or underneath the car. The interior of the car is in good condition because of the few rips and scratches it has and has never been smoked in since I’ve had it. I was planning on swapping the seats out for Recaros but never got around to it. The interior has Amber bulbs for gauge display, JDM Integra Type-R amber climate control, JDM Integra Type-R cup holders, JDM Integra Type-R Ash Tray, an Integra Type-R shift boot, and a chrome shift knob with red numbers. The speakers were upgraded also to a Rockford Component System in which the tweeters were replaced, the front speakers were upgraded to 5x1/4”, and rears were upgraded to 6x9”. I had a subwoofer system but I took it out to put in my new car. The tires on the car are pretty much brand new and have 95% tread life left. ALL 4 are low profile BF Goodrich Sport Tires. The WHOLE car will be detailed before sale. I am giving everything that I have extra for the car (just a few things) and everything that came stock on it to the buyer as well. This includes a CD of the full shop manual that they use in Acura dealerships and explains how to do everything to the car.

Sounds like I pretty much explained everything about the car, but these are the only pictures I have at the moment because I get off of work late and it’s dark outside by the time I get home. It really is a great car and will be appreciated the moment you drive it. The car is known with my friends, and they are surprised that I am selling it. I am at the same time excited and very sad to see it go, but it’s time for me to get started on my other car.

Bump

Any comments or questions? Any feedback would be really helpful with my sale, especially from those who have looked at the car. I also have a cars.com ad now.
