Default Rota Slipstreams

Hey Guys, Ive decided to get 15 inch Rota Slipstreams, but i have some questions.

First off I know all about the 15 vs 16 inch debate but im concerened about potholes (I live in NYC) and i really dont want to bend/break a rim which is why i think going with a 15 inch is the better bet. If i do 15 inch i'll do a 50 series tire, if i did 16 id go with a 45 series and i think that might lead to damage if i hit a pot hole fast enough. ( I know you can damage a rim no matter what but you know what i mean)

Question 2. I dont know where is a good reputable place to purchase them from. I emailed rota a while ago and i was told i can get them in the color combo i want (Royal Black w/ Polished Lip) although no one has pics of the set up. I need a good place i can trust. Any Ideas?

rotas are best bought from:
www.machiii.net
www.jaydm.com
www.imotiv8.net

I think that if a pothole (thanks goverment for doing nothing with tax money) is bad enough to damage a 16" it'll damage a 15" wheel as well. Just my opinion. Good luck!

Cashis EG8 is a HAN vendor for rotas. I got mine from him a while back and it was by far the best deal around.

Oh wait it appears he is no longer in the biz. hmmmm. modacar.com had decent packages if i remeber correctly.

This is where I bought my my wheels. 16X7 Rota Slipstreams with a 40mm offset -they fit perfectly on a civic and integra, i tried them on my cars to see which car looked better with them on. Stock 15" wheel offset on integras is 45mm-fyi.

If you need tires as well, www.machiii.net has free mounting, balancing and shipping with the combo of wheels and tires. I've got my eye on some 15x6.5 black slips and 195/50/15 Toyo Proxes 4 for $740 to my door. One of the best deals I've found so far. They carry Falken and Yokohama tires as well for different prices.
