trouble with a rear strut bar

i am having some trouble installing a rear strut bar...it is dc sports and the one end with the "screw type thing" well it wont screw and it is a few cm too long so i cant bolt it on with out it being bend or bowed a little....help....

are you sure you got the right one?... are you sure that the adjustable braces are flat and not bent at all? used or new?

yeah i got it the screw in bolt was just a little hard to turn just put it in the vice and showed it who was boss
