Pioneer CD player installed, as well as (4) 6-1/2 speakers. All are working great and it sounds pretty good. Also had a Black Widow keyless entry system installed, which will lock and unlock front 2 doors. Rear doors are fully manual. All were installed at Best Buy.
Have had several parts replaced on the car. The battery, distributor (This is an expensive item, ranging from $250-400. I'm told this is the most common thing to go wrong with these model cars), and tires have all been replaced within the last 6 months, with virtually no miles on them.
New brake shoes, wheel cylinders, brake pads, master cylinder, radiator, top radiator hose, thermostat, fuel relay switch, valve cover
gasket, & timing belts replaced since I have owned car. Of course, routine things like oil & filters, air filters, spark plugs and fuel filters have been changed and replaced per Honda maintenance schedule.
Note on timing belts: these were replaced around 150k miles. Honda recommends changing every 60-75k miles. This is the biggest item that needs to be addresed within the next 10-25k miles of car.
Only 2 small problems with car that I know of. One is the muffler. It is busted loose on the engine side and should be replaced. It is a little louder than usual, but I have lived with this for a little while. Other problem is a small leak of clutch fluid. With regular driving, the clutch fluid cylinder will usually leak down over period of a week. Leak does NOT seem to be getting worse.
It is a good little car, handles very well, and has been fun to drive around, and gets consistent mileage of 28-32 mpg.
