Check your lug nuts first. I am taking from your post that it does get worse with brakes applied-that rules out the tires.

Does it get worse when you let off the gas, too? Same situation in turns (coasting)?

Is it felt more through the steering wheel or the whole car?

if the vibration is at 65+ it might also be that it needs balancing!

The vibration comes from the steering wheel. But when I put on the brakes on at 65+ the it feels like I am driving on a cobull stone road at the pedals.

I would say warped brake rotor or loose control arm. You can check your rotor by jacking the front of your car, taking off the wheels and let it idle in first gear. Look strait down the side of the rotor and check for "wabble".
