Default i have a question about my d16z6

hello everyone, i have a weird question. i was driving one night and all my car lights inside and out went really dim, and when i press on the gas the engine slowed down real fast like it was going to die on me. i had my friend come and look at it and he some what didnt know, but he said it could be the alternator and the battery. im thinking all this is an eletrick problem im not sure?

sounds like the alternator to me. charge the battery and drive on over to autozone or somewhere. most places can test it.

i did change the alternator, but havent changed the battery and it still has the same problems so you think it could be the battery since if the alternator died it would take all its power from the battery and drain it?

A bad alternator can screw up your battery and vice versa of you have in internal short in your battery it can screw up your alternator.

Been there Done that.
