I have a 1997 Civic Ex with a 1.6 Sohc, what engine mods could i do to get some serious power outta this thing? is this engine worth it? what would i have to do to put turbo on it? oh by the way its an automatic...can i change it to manual? I love this car and since im getting a new one i wanted to hook this one up....right now im just dreaming....but i dont know where to start.

 

A 5 speed coversion sounds good any other ideas?

 

Ive already ordered a full body kit, spoiler, head/rear light assemblies, seats, and a hood.

turbo or swap that bitch...only way to get real power out of that engine

good luck with the body kit and other exterior mods, u wont get a lot of fans around here with that style... but hey to each their own

 

wont get a lot of fans anywhere with body mods....drastisc i shoudl say. do a manual swap first before all if you want power. from there like veryone else said...turbo, swap, head work. what do you mean by serious power? 14.5 is fun.....15.0 is fun. 13.0 makes you cocky.....12 makes you basically invisible on the road...more cocky...11 gets you no girlfriends since you "spend so much time on your car and not me"
