Default Throttle body problems?

We've recently just put in my new throttle body 68mm and now when we start the car, it has definate trouble and idles 500ish RPM (mostly in the winter time). In order to start it, I need to twist the key, hit the gas just a bit, and rev it at about 1k for a minute or so in order for it not to kill. We've adjusted the cable and it still has a rough time starting up. But when the car gets a little warmer, it starts to idle normally and runs perfectly fine. WTFMATE. Help a noob out! Thanks.

what i ment is the throttle body probalby doesnt have the IAC valve hole cut in it, causeing the iac not to function properly. when i got my skunk2 68mm tb it had the hole but the gasket it came with didnt, so i had to put a hole in the gasket to to allow the iac to bypass the butterfly like it should fixing the cold start issue and low idle.

ah that is true. I didn't think about the hole.

So yea, just check your iacv and your fitv

you should never adjust your throttle screw. Its preset from the factory and the ECU controls idle.

the throttle screw is really just thier to keep your throttle plate from binding, but screw it upwards raising the throttle lever it's located under the thing where the throttle cable attaches to the throttle body. but it might cause your car to surge if you adjust it up.
