Default i think its the battery...need help!

my civic was acting up yesterday. my battery signal lit up and then a couple hours later my dash board lights were getting dimmer. Then my rpm and speedometer failed and it only works when i accerlate. This morning my car won't start and i had to get it jump started...But my car alrm still worked and all of the windows but they were slow and struggling to work...once i got it jump started my ometers still only worked when i accerated, and my battery light still was on...so now i'm getting confused of whats happening with my car.

you could try compression starting it if you dont have someone to give u a jump. all you have to do is push the car put it in second and pop the clutch, tap the gass and vroom vroom. once u get it started take it to autozone.

To check if its your battery you could get a voltmeter and see the voltage. The battery alone should measure over 12V.

OR jump your car again and when its running unplug the (+) line and if its still running then its your battery. Not your alternator. Replace the battery, its not that expensive.

Im having this problem right now too. Waiting to get my Optima battery replaced. Nationwide outage of the yellow Top Optima due to quality control problems.

If it was going while you were driving then it is the alternator, not the battery.

Going to be expensive.
