Default strut bar question...

ok.. i'm looking for strut bars for my wife's civic ES1. it's not going to be modded like crazy or anything.. just mainly suspension stuff.

so i found this on modacar.com. it looks beefy as hell.. since there are less points for movements.. but wanted to see if anyone out there has any experience with them:

http://www.modacar.com/products/Hond...novations.html

we'll just install upper front and rear strut bars with front and rear lower tie bars. she won't be racing or anything like that.. just don't want the car to have that much flex while cornering.

yeah that's what i was thinking too. cuz i've seen some tenzo crap on ebay that go for cheaper.. but those have way too much flex.

guess i'll roll up to modacar one of these days and get that bar or something.

If she's not going to race why waste the money? Most people don't even feel strut bars for daily driving let alone even use 10% of it's price.

Sort of like buying an S2000 and shift at 4000rpms. Or putting a turbo kit on a car and shifting at 3000rpms.

I have a 2001 Civic EX and I got an AEM Short Ram intake put on. Now my strut bar won't fit back on over the Intake.... Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you know of any strut bars that will fit? I'd appreciate any help.

i've noticed that some makers of the strut bars will state that it won't fit over short ram intakes.. so either you have to get a new intake or get a new strut bar that will fit.

my wife won't be need an intake.. so any bar that will fit will do just fine.
