I'm putting together a d16z6 transmission that previously had a broken shifter fork.

I pulled the gearset from another z6 trans and I'm just swapping the entire gearset out.

Question is, how the hell do I get the gearset back into the case?

There are the three tabs at the bottom of the shifter selector and they catch up on the bar that actuates them. I know its just a matter of getting them to align right but I can't get that shit to work.

anybody with experience want to chime in perhaps? Or anybody with the FSM that might have the trans section? The FSM link is down right now
