Default Rear speakers in 98 civic

Need help removing the speaker grills in a 98 civic.

in my 98 accord, you open the trunck, and look near the speakers and you will find 2 screws holding the grills on, take the screws out and there you go, the grill will pop off, maybe the civic is the same, or similar, let me know if that works

which grilles? the front 6.5"s or the rear deck speakers? the front grilles push down on the curve on the top and pull towards you. the rear grilles don't remove as far as i know from having replaced my speakers.

The rear ones don't remove, you have to take the entire interior panelling out i believe.
