Default What is your sub(s) boxed in?

I just switched from a sealed to a slot ported box for my 12" MA Audio sub, major change in bass! It was one of the greatest buy I have ever made! Just wanted to see what else all ya'll had.

Ive had MANY subwoofers. If I had to count, Ive probably had about 8 different setups. But my most recent few, I went from sealed W3s, to ported IDQ, to sealed IDQ, to ported eD kv.

The only one to compare the two different type of boxes would be the IDQ. The ported one got much louder and lower. Since then, I have just stuck with ported enclosures.

The IDQ is for sale if anyone is interested h:

I just realized, I haven't though of MA Audio in a while. I remember they made some pretty nice stuff. I was going to buy their 6.5 Comps but I bought my car with Boston Acoustics allready in it.

I did have two 12" in a sealed box, but they sat in my garage for over a year and during the winter some mice ate the foam on one of the subs, it pissed me off so much because they were pretty good sized subs
