Default This is getting on my nerves....

Alright, i have a 92 teg ls. The seat belt light stays on all the time. Yea i know buckle the seat belts, well i did so. The light didnt go off. Thats not the annoying part though. Theres a beeping noise coming from the passenger side floor board. It use to be a intermediate problem and only beep every now and then. Now its ALL THE TIME. The only time it goes off is when the passenger side door is open. But if you close the door it starts going off again. I checked to see if i could disconnect the speaker and its protected by a little metal box that i cant get into without a hammer or something and i really dont want to resort to that. I checked to see if there was a problem with the automatic seat belt part that slides back and forth and i cant see anything wrong with it. Anyone else ever have this problem or atleast know something i could try to fix it besides just disconnecting the automatic seat belts on it??? Please this thing is going to cause me to have road rage..... And dont tell me to turn the radio up loud please cause i have my 2 kids with me most of the time and the 4 month old probably wouldnt like the solobaric L7 that much. Thanks!

there may be something with the auto. seat belt controlling module. or a sensor...

does the passenger side seatbelt go up and down as the door is open and closed?

Check the connection under the seat too. If you have a meter use it.

if u wanna stop the beeping (not sure if it will work...) but after u start ur car and close ur doors, there is a seatbelt control module u can disconnect. where the fuse box is on the driver side, in that same spot on the passenger side. thats where it is. u need to pull off the plastic piece. there r clips holding it in and they may be rusted or old (mine where and caused me to break my plastic piece) but then just disconect the bugger and see if that helps until u fix it.
