2 questions about my 91 RS: recently the cruise control has started surging a little, and didn't do that before. Any ideas?
Also, for a while it's been hard to get the 5-speed into 1st gr, and it's much stiffer to move through the gate than the typical smooth Honda shifter. If I need to replace the shifter bushings, is that a job a semi-mech like me could do?

I don't know about the cruise control but if you are having a hard time getting it into first gear that usually means the syncro has gone bad.
