Default 00 Integra GSR:Having problems starting! any suggestions?!

i was driving normally on the freeway. and i downshifted to 4th. and when it hit 4500 RPM i heard a pop sound coming from the engine bay. it felt like there was no power when i downshifted, so after that my car started to die.
and it wouldnt start after that. then i found out i was getting no spark to my spark plugs. and my best guess is that i blew my ignitor.

so if anyone can give me ideas on why my car wont start before i go buy some parts that would be cool.

Take off the distributor cap and have someone try to start the car. You should see the rotor turning. If its not, then your timing belt is probably broken.

or maybe your timing belt jumped and its no longer in the right spot so the timing is off and your car wont start
