Default my gsr is having alot of carbon build up!!!

i have noticed for a while now that the back of my car is always coverd in alot of carbon. i did a complete tune up and changed the fuel reg. and filter. All that money wasted because the prob wasnt fixed. i went and spent the 40 bucks to have the car checked out on a scanner and my mechanic told me that my o2 sensors are fine and that my cat is shot. any one have any sugestions or maybe know somthing they dont?? i was looking into a high flow cat converter because i want the prob to stop. any help would be highly appreciated.

a lot of what your gunna hear is "ur mech is right" ... which is true... ur cat is prolly just blown out and it's time for a replacement...what kind of mods do you have to constitute a high flow.... granted they're great for all applications...but to save u the money it's worthless if ur a low end stock teggie

Get a head cleaning service at the dealership, that usually blow a lot of shit out and then you'll know if you need a cat or not. But none the less that service helps the car run so much better.

i had a cold air intake on the car untill this all started to happen.... i took it off thinking that was the problem. when i took off the intake and set it in my garage some one stole the damn thing so now i am running off the stock box.
